Close a Trade

Close your open trades from the Positions pane, which shows all your currently open positions. Complete the following steps to close a trade:

From the list of all your open positions, find the trade you want to close.
Tap the [Close] button for the market you are closing. A closing trade ticket appears.
You can partially close your position by editing the Quantity field for the amount you want to close, or leave it at the full size value to close the entire position.

Note: when partially closing a position, the amount you are closing AND the trade size remaining must both be greater than or equal to the minimum trade size.
On the ticket, tap the [Close] button to submit the close the trade to the servers. If you have changed your mind tap [Cancel] to close the pop-up without closing the trade.
A confirmation message appears with the details of the trade closure. Tap [OK] to acknowledge and close the confirmation message. If the trade closure request is not successful, the relevant error message is displayed explaining why.
